It’s not about losing. We are getting BODIED. A gift interception and a poor alignment by Miami has got us on the board. Otherwise this would be even uglier.

Napier was yet another misfire and the saddest part of it is, he didn’t have to be. He has gotten in his own way.

 

If your schemes are as conservative and basic and uninspired as Billy’s, then yes, that is the case. The other option is to have better schemes and coaching that can help level the talent differential.

If this turns into a blowout then you have to fire Billy. Same mind boggling play calling, same defensive issues, same lack of discipline. I’m pretty sure there’s little to no repercussions for taking dumb and unnecessary penalties. This is all indicative of poor leadership. These young men just haven’t developed as a group and it shows. Maybe he will prove me wrong in the second half, but I seriously doubt it.
