Our offense is so pedestrian. You can tell our OLine is not all there yet. Really disappointing first quarter.

 

We have some D issues to be sure, but that was career TO number 73 for Ward. He is a talented player with a propensity for turning the ball over - true to form so far. The ACC refs are a band of cheats.

Mertz is off. We are on the board though!

 

Getting stoned up front and throwing bad passes.

But they said earlier they lost 4 of thier best DBs from last year. Got to take advantage of that.

 

Tosses it up on the long balls. Nobody open. Expect Napier to keep running at Miami’s DL. Need to go around their front 7.

 

Pass protection has been good enough to execute.

 

If Billy is here next year… please hire an oc this time.

Our offensive of scheme doesn’t put pressure on anybody.

 

Need to go 4 or 5 wide to give Mertz more options

 

Not sure if OL can give Mertz enough time on average for deep ball…..Miami D rush is tough

 

Shane Matthews not happy with our play calling so far today.

 

Martinez seems to be picking up 6 or 7 yards every time after contact. Need to get him down sooner

We are further along than previous years, but we ain’t there yet.

 

Offense needs to spread them out, throw or let Mertz and short passes be our running game until Miami adjusts
