Pre-Game Discussion: Miami at FLORIDA

I have heard over and over how this is a must win game for both Miami and UF! I disagree with that assessment: Miami can still have a very nice season if they start off with an away loss to Florida. For us a loss moves playing above .500 ball this year almost out of reach given our opposition later in the year.
Of course anything can happen, we have a chance of winning in every game so there is always hope, no matter what happens this afternoon. I'm not gonna get too depressed if we lose but sure would love to get that dub! GO GATORS!

 

Miami wins the offseason like Tennessee every year. Ask them how many ACC Championships they’ve won.

 

Their fans think they’re winning both lines of scrimmage. As far as moving the ball, they think the will run at will with the #1 ranked transfer RB. They also think their #1 ranked transfer QB will be quite a step up from Van Dyke…never mind the metrics.

 

God help us If they are correct. Hope not

Had a Cane friend who told me he dropped $3k on Canes and thinks they win bu 14 plus...I just laughed. He said they would dominate our lines and their QB was a superstarI said good luck in the Swamp there is a bunch of lost bets from opposing teams in there....not a good bet.

Pretty much this. There's too many new faces on defense for me to think we will win the LOS on that end but we should on offense. See my post above in regards to running the ball. Go and watch Tyler Van Dyke's "highlights" from last night's Wisconsin game and you'll see what we had to deal with.
