Been quiet....been expecting to see an official depth chart today although I expect him to be listed as questionable to keep his status on down low.
When I flew through there at the end of July there were no health issues, just long customs lines. I think we will be ok.
I know I’ll probably get blasted..but I like to grade player ability. And it’s certainly not personal..strictly abstract..but I just hope that Montrell isn’t our best back. J just think he’s a tad bit overrated since coming over. Def a solid back. But I would like a bit more explosiveness from that position. I don’t know if we have that guy? However,I was definitely looking forward to the other guys getting a chance. I know .. I know..experience plays a part and I cannot argue that. But again.. I have a suspicion that we will eventually see more explosiveness out of at least 1 of the other 4 dudes.
Gave you a come on, man because you don’t have to be flashy to be a good running back. Montrell is more of a Terrell Davis, Eddie George type running back…strong, fast, and steady.
My post reflects my opinion..and by the way, I happen to know for sure it’s not that far off. I was fair and balanced. You gave a “Come on man” which is essentially the lowest rating for any post! THAT is truly deserving of a “Come on Man!” So eat it. By the way.. he’s not faster than average. And Steady? You want steady? lol.
You stay ahead of the sticks when you’re running back always gets positive yardage. Flashy running backs that run east and west a lot create a lot of third and longs and put pressure on your quarterback.
