Go GATORS! I can't contain my utter joy. fsu travels to Ireland, has the nation to itself on tv, hyped as contenders and they crap the bed? BEAUTIFUL! 60-3 or whatever ever last year in the bowl game? Wow! I'll believe miami when I see it at seasons end. Now how about some dang Gator pride! There's a few guys around there who can explain it if refreshers are needed. This schedule can also build as much as tear down. I'd rather watch a fistfight on every down in the fourth quarter in the trenches instead of our guys feet sticking out from under their guys on the ground. PRIDE not ego pays the bills. Again please forgive the ramble.
This will be the year of the Gator... when we came back out of the darkness. I have a good feeling about this team, and we will play a schedule that exemplifies Gator greatness... is a must.
BC is pretty bad. I know we lost 5 straight to end last season, but Miami wasn’t much better at 1-4. Their only win was against BC.
Shane Matthews said yesterday BC's QB is better than DJ"U". (I could not tell you who he is) Of course this one is in Tally and the noles will be primed. Shane and JC seemed to enjoy FSU's demise in Dublin, lol. I will say this, Shane was saying all along he thought FSU was overhyped, considering the loss of Travis, Verse and some of the other top guys they lost. BTW - If you want to see a really interesting "Matthews in the Morning", check out last Fridays podcast when he interviews "Pizza". Quite a bit of history and nostalgia with that guy, really an interesting inteview. Harkens back to when I was at UF. Pizza new EVERYBODY. Reeves, Alvarez, the Pell Era, quite the character.
After we beat SCum and BC beats fsu within two days of each other, it will be the best couple of days in college football for me in many years.
Castellanos is decent. I thought you meant Lagway instead of DJU and was like what? I did start watching that Pizza Bill guy, but couldn’t sit thru the whole thing.
I had the same feeling. Unfortunately as we get closer to the game, my nerves are starting to tighten.
This may sound weird but, staying home watching a big game makes me extremely nervous. It even carries over for the first few series of the game. When I attend the game I am anxious to get it started don’t have the extreme case of nerves I have watching it at home. Glad I’m attending this Saturday. This one is a nervous breakdown waiting to happen. Don’t think that even my pal Jack Daniels could calm my nerves.
Kickoff is 9:30PM here. My mother-in-law ain't gonna like me screaming all night in her own house. I love her, but sacrifices must be made.
I am always nervous..even when SOS and Urban were our coaches....I hate watching on tv..cause I want to punch it out if something bad happens or curse profusely ..at least there..I control myself in public lol
