    Good. @#$%@. Call.

    Ty sir for the tip.

(Funny side note--Napier at 1.5 speed, perfect. The repoters' questions however, sound like the Alvin and the Chipmunks).

    20 mins of Coach-speak.

"...our fans are great..." "...the players have worked real hard", "...made a lot of improvement", "... worked real hard...", "... great condition/shape...", "... we all know how important this game is", "... the team's all jacked up for the game..."

You new to football or something?

We're you expecting coach to lay out strategy?

"...we've identified their left LB/right CB as a weakness and plan on targeting him until they stop us..."

    :p

    The Hurricanes don't blow,

    THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deflected many questions into coach speak. Flat out refused to address one question (presumably secret information), said we look better this year, more leadership, Mizel looks good, Mertz came back to improve draft stock and for other reasons, and coach speak.

If coaches’ press conferences meant anything, they wouldn’t have to play the games.

Haven’t heard that expression in years. We used it a lot in my high school days but, you aren’t as old as I am, Wanne.

Nope, but I have some southern roots in my family and there’s a lot of euphemisms that I grew up on that people haven’t heard in years

Running the ball effectively is the safest way to take out the crowd and soften up the secondary in a hostile environment without turning the ball over.

Yes, if you can do it effectively, otherwise it could be a bad day, if that was your main plan of action. I'd much rather be balanced and game plan accordingly. It makes adjustments much easier and puts the defense on it's heals.

Just saying its probably the plan to start the game given Wards first game with Miami AND at the Swamp. Lean on your strengths and they have a strong line. Just my two cents. I'm on record as pretty optimistic about the season and I don't think Miami as a complete team is anything special but their lines on both sides of the ball are concerning.
