I’m not sure that we can say they played badly. They played mistake-free football essentially, they are missing a QB and their DL couldn’t handle Techs OL.

 

I think the tape of their lines would tell a different story. They weren't just outmanned or out-physicalled. There are multiple clips out there showing just absolute disaster plays. Also DJU had some open shots downfield that he wasn't even close on. Mistakes aren't limited to turnovers and giving up explosive plays. They tackled poorly, lined up poorly, missed blocks, missed opportunities and left points on the field. You don't give up almost 200 yds rushing and rush for 3 yds a carry playing mistake free.

Granted, it was much more how GT controlled the game than big mistakes, but they really have a lot of work to do in the trenches, and need to figure out a way to help out DJU because he is not going to carry them like Jordan Travis did.
