Did Mark richt have a stroke or something? Watching the ACC network re cap show (to enjoy the FSU apologists) and he sounds like Joe Biden.
I think he has Parkinson's? Or something like that... It's still sad for anyone (and for their family) to get that.
That would explain it. He didn't move and kept staring at the same spot while he talked. Sad, he's not really that old.
FSU could not stop the run, did not seem to get a lot of pressure, and their QB was not accurate on many of throws. Will be hard replacing Travis and lost many of their good players last year. Lost their two best DL, two best WRs, best RB, and transfers not as good as those that left. Georgia Tech HC is a former OL coach, they had 4 returning OL and a highly rated transfer OL, as well as ACC leading rusher returning. Georgia Tech brought in Duke DC and their Offensive coordinator spent 3 years at UGA incorporating aspects of Monken pro style with his spread background. Georgia Tech could be better than people think.
Norvell needs to win just enough games every year (and there are enough easy games on the schedule) to hold down that job. We don't need a certain former Nole athlete (not a student/athlete, just an athlete) anywhere near it. That athlete's act may not work much longer out West, but it would work well in Tally.
Nobody is going to want that athlete after this year. He won't even go on visits for recruiting. His act has worn thin, and his squad is getting thin. Once Shedeur is gone, he will pack it in.
It is sad, by all accounts Richt is a fine person and Parkinson’s is a horrible thing. My heart goes out to him and his family.
One drive aided by a questionable pi and another by 2 fourth and long. I still thought they would pull it out though. But I Love every bit of it!
I guess that’s as good a reason as any for them to say this loss “doesn’t count” either, and SWAC is still enjoying a 13-game winning streak, like I was hearing all morning.
Let's see: They couldn't block, (Richie Leonard blocked his own teammate and looked lost all game) They couldn't rush (didn't break a 100 yds) couldn't protect the QB Off.avg. 5 yds per play, QB couldn't sustain any momentum (started 12-14 1st half, went 7-13 the second half). The WR core was non existent, soley relying on SR WR Ja'kai Douglas. The DB'S couldn't cover the GT WR's. The Defensive line got abuse allowing nearly 200 yards on the ground. Don't know if I seen a single play that stood out from the LB's. It's like they forgot to get on the plane. Tbh, it's really hard to think of anything that will create optimism. It's worse when you think about the additional facts that: FSU had ZERO turnovers and only 1 penalty yet could not find the End Zone regularly. Needed two 4th down conversions out of 3 tries to keep drives alive. Needed 2 FG's of 50+ yards(59 & 52) And needed a missed FG from GT to even be tied near the end. But after seeing the game thread they do still have 1 super fan left....... Shane4three is still in awe of the Noles, their genius, super advanced offensive HC, and their otherworldly Special Teams. 6-6 year for FSU Coming up.
