I think any conference championship game is useless now and nothing but a money grab. Sure, it will "$line$" pockets, but whats the point? Potential for injury is great. The old days are long gone now, it used to mean something, not anymore, about as useful as rotary phones.
Sure but there are automatic qualifiers now, and that takes 5 of the 12 spots. All those teams he has in the playoff play at least 2 of the others in that group, except Texas. I just highly doubt you end up with 5 teams at 10-2 or better. I think the league just added 2 more quality teams to its depth. Several of those teams listed play tough non con games as well. It was also an east west split, so your top 2 in the east likely didn't play all 3 of the top teams in the west, because they only play 2 against the other side. The group he has in the playoff, all play one another in some combo. So he's betting those teams only lose to one another and none of them lose to an Auburn/A&M/Oklahoma/mizzou dare I say UF.
On the other side of the coin, we needed an absolutely incredible comeback to beat South Carolina. What I'm more focused on is the fact we didn't really have a chance to win against UK, UGA, and Utah. Those gotta get fixed. The coinflip games won't all go our way.
What's funny about the expansion and all is, would you rather have the bye week, or host a playoff game? On one hand you want to be rested on the other hand you earn a god awful amount of money for a home playoff game I bet. So how do you go into the title game in Atlanta if all that's riding on it is seeding?
With the top 4 going to conference champs it’s not that far off base. They could go 8-4 and beat Clemson in the ACCCG and get a top 4 seed. But… I think Clemson wins the acc. JMO
No - I am saying no thanks to shirt because sunscreen. in reality I am just to wear my orange baseball jersey and we are going to have to deal with me being the only person wearing orange
11 year old me was there. Had just gone to Epcot the day before on my middle school trip, that I remember but no clue what happened at the battle of Hastings. Funny the things we remember
Nice realistic call here...knowing you were going to beat by Utah, Ky and Ga...not sure if I can ever get used to that. $hit needs to change real fast.
Yeah I figure most years the highest ranked Group of 5 team isn't in the top 12. So it potentially takes away a bid from a top 12 team due to that.
Probably right. The ACC and Big 12 title games could be big when it comes to their bids. If there's a undefeated Clemson, playing a 3 loss FSU / NC state / Miami right on the fringe that could get 2 in if they upset the higher ranked team.
