Please provide a link to a credible source regarding the assassination conspiracy theory. Until I see evidence from a credible source indicating that Crooks didn't work alone I'm still going with the simplest and most logical theory i.e. that he was a lone wolf and was only able to get off multiple shots at the former president due to extreme incompetence on the part of the Secret Service and to a lesser extent local law enforcement.

As far Biden's decision to withdraw while it was obviously the result of pressure it was still voluntary. Unlike the Republican nominee Joe Biden was willing to sacrifice his own aspirations for the good of the nation a concept totally foreign to Trump and apparently to his supporters.

 

Seems to affirm the incompetence theory i.e. they are most likely guilty of serious failure to perform their role(s) in a competent manner. While the whole incident is still under investigation the chances are that one or more of them will be demoted and/or forced to resign or retire.

Conceding that it wouldn't have made any difference in the end several State Republican Parties cancelled their primaries in 2020. While you're probably too young to recall Hubert Humphrey was the Democratic nominee in 1968 even though he didn't receive a single primary vote. Before 1972 back when America was Great, presidential candidates weren't even selected through binding primaries. Not all states even held primaries and in a number of states primaries were preferential not binding, they actually weren't used to select delegates to party conventions.

 

They’re not worried. Their compensation for allowing the assassination attempt is in no danger.
