Unfortunately that's true. Both sides routinely trumpet good news if their guy is in the White House, but dismiss it he's not. Trumpet bad news if they other party is in charge, dismiss it if theirs is.
That's both sides.
But the claim that the figures are fake seems to only come from one side. It was non-stop when Obama was president and the numbers were good. Same with the claim that higher U6 is the real UE figure, not the traditional U3. It all disappeared when Trump took office.
Now it's back.

Because the economy is doing pretty good, although I like Goldman’s estimate that there is a 20% chance of a recession, so there is no need to create troll threads saying it is the best or worst economy in history because the leader of a cult said so.

So if you are asking why Democrats aren’t trolling the board with threads like “50 million jobs created under Democratic Presidents since 1989. 1 million under republicans since the EIGHTIES” there is an easy answer.

That is a 100% true fact, but of course it is extremely misleading because the President doesn’t have dictatorial powers over our economy. No need to troll.
