drones synced into the control? Fished with some former "operators" in Alaska this year. They wouldn't go into detail but the use of drones and the level of integration into their small teams that they talked about was impressive. thermal imaging of everything around them live while they were moving around. no sneaking up on them without thermal blankets. drones you wouldn't hear 100' above you if they were to be believed. One guy borrowed my drone to scout for bears in the area and even though I can fly pretty good, he was at a different level. This piece of artillery is on wheels which may give it some advantages.
More surrenders for Russian troops on Russian soil. The number: 102 (does this qualify as a "goodly" number?). Vlad the Paler: humiliated. Humiliation for Putin as Over 100 Troops Raise White Flag on Russian Soil
Putin has competition for his job. A former Russian politician living in exile in Ukraine has decided to "lead the Russian revolt in Kursk". He believes that large numbers of Russian soldiers will defect to join his new Russian army as he leads the rebellion against the Evil Empire. Darth Vader has not commented yet on this new development. Anybody still think that the Kursk invasion was a bad move? Kremlin Nemesis Plans to Create Putin’s Nightmare in Captured Russian Territory
Be charitable. He’s on the right side of this issue, and this issue is arguably the most important facing us.
A good article on Russia's impending economic catastrophe. An economic catastrophe is lurking beneath Russia’s GDP growth as Putin ‘throws everything into the fireplace’
Well, I take back any optimism I had before. Russia is turning their version of the Space Force into provisional infantry and unleashing them against the hapless Ukrainian invaders of Kursk. This Russian move skips several basic steps of escalation protocol. Common courtesy says you first arm your Coast Guard and your Salvation Army. Russia deploying "space troops" to defend Kursk
Promised them they would be the geek squad limited to setting up and maintaining communications. Likely gave them a shovel and a sicle when they got there
Ukraine Blows Up $200M Worth Of Russian Fuel With Drone Strike on Depot (msn.com) According to Russian state-run news agency Tass via Telegram on Monday, the fire is raging across an area of 10,000 square meters, and head of the Proletarsk district administration said that over 500 firefighters have been sent to deal with the blaze. On Monday, Governor Golubev said that a state of emergency had been declared in the district, and that 41 firefighters had been taken to the Proletarsk central district hospital to seek treatment, 18 of whom were subsequently hospitalized, with five currently in intensive care. According to Yaroslov Trofimov, a Ukrainian-born journalist and chief foreign affairs correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, the Proletarsk facility holds up to $200 million worth of fuel, based on a domestic wholesale price of around $500 per ton of diesel.
I agree and will state again and again, just how incredible it is, that Ukraine is not only still "In the Game" but right now seems to have regained a bit of a tactical advantage. Talk about undressing the "myth" of Russian military power. Sure, I fully understand the US and NATO have poured billions into the fight, but look what they were pouring it into, prior to the conflict, Ukraine was considered totally corrupt, inept, with a significant % of pro-russian citizens. In my opinion two powerful Ukrainian forces are at play here: 1) A Nationalistic fervor that exceeded all expectations. 2) Zelenski - Wow, if they lose tomorrow, this man now ranks wih the likes of Winston Churchill. When Sean Penn left Ukraine he kept commenting on the singular focus of the Ukranian will to resist. If the Ukranian citizenry was not committed, it would not matter how much money, or weaponry was supplied by anybody. I really think politics is secondary to a large segment of the population, they really don't want to be controlled again by that repressive Russian regime. And they are proving it every day in blood and sacrifice. I didn't think the Kursk counter offensive was possible, once again the Ukranian will to resist has proven me wrong. For me this is as clear a case of Good Guy vs Bad Guy, as there is.
Wounded Knee, Tuskegee, Vietnam, Kent State, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, Libya. But believe our government on Russia.
Ukraine’s Kursk incursion is an embarrassment for the Kremlin. It has done little but to galvanize the Russian public. And it does afford Russia the opportunity to corral and destroy Zelensky’s last reserves.
Using the Imperial Storm Troopers, is he? Will they have the same inability to hit a target as the ones in Star Wars?
Well look at the bright side sierra, if Trump wins, I imagine Vodka will be the new American drink of choice.
