Sounds like he’s still heavily involved at UF, just recognizing that for the present time he cannot dedicate his full-time commitment to it. Considering that almost anyone in the role of University President is both a lawyer and a politician, Sasse seems like an asset to UF. Naturally I also like having a conservative president in a critical facet of our society so dominated by liberals

 

I read his statement and it’s sounds legit. It’s really hard to have sound opinions when we are so ignorant of what is really involved in the daily life of his job. It takes money to make money and sounds like he is thinking outside the box and getting out in front. Being reactionary and always one or two steps behind can be an enormous problem.

 

And as soon as his opinion on Florida football matters I’ll make sure to let him know

I would have liked to see our 2012 team play that Bama team.

 

Notre Dame was an absolute joke that year. There 5-6 SEC teams that would have run out of the stadium in 2012.

Don't care how much our very own Gator fans disparage that team, we deserved a chance to play Bama way more than that notre dame team. Osu wasn't supposed to have chance against Miami either. Same with Florida against osu. Our defense gave us a chance at beating anybody and certainly better odds than notre dame. Still sticks in my craw
