The Kimmel interview is hilarious at the beginning. I didn’t listen much past that, because she dodged the very first question. Hardball journalist Kimmel asked do you miss living in California and she can’t say yes or no. She dances with I love California and it is great we can be back here.
Harris can continue to ride the “anyone but Trump” wave by hosting her rallies and basically say the same thing each time. Don’t see a lot of good things happening for Harris in a debate setting as she struggles as a public speaker and often can’t articulate the points she is trying to make. So the best thing the Democrats can do is limit her unrehearsed appearances and I doubt she agrees to anymore than the one debate.
Same here. I can't listen to her speak for long, it's so awful. If the choice was Kamala vs. Hillary, I would literally wade through lava to go vote for Hillary. With Hillary, there was Bill, so you had some genuine hope and even though Hillary can be wooden at times, she's able to give an interview without it being complete cringe from start to end.
Zero. How many presidential candidates have run while being a felon rapist? Uncharted waters, my desperate friend.
Looks like two presidential debates and one VP debate. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4829658-kamala-harris-donald-trump-debates-2024/
Seems unclear so far. Kamala Harris Campaign Says It Agreed To A Second Debate With Donald Trump, Rejects More Than One VP Faceoff
Trump/Vance are handling the debate game of chicken very well. It's easy for Trump/Vance to tie in the narrative of Kamala being afraid of questions with her reluctance to agree to a 3rd debate. And what can a 2nd VP debate hurt? One side is ready to duke it out, the other is resisting with excuses, which will eventually turn into damage control. I think the media will come around, because it's red meat. Kamala hasn't won a primary and did very poorly after Tulsi nuked her in the 2020 debates. The media, as biased as they can be, don't want to lose their power. And their power is derived from their relevance. Their relevance is derived from challenging the candidates and asking tough questions.
Oh yeah totally. Like when Trump said he was backing out of the ABC debate only to turn around a week later and capitulate like the little orange bitch he is.
If I search the post history will I find posts of you complaining of Trump not participating in primary debates?
Sure, but if you and I know that these moves are solely cosmetic, then they should make no difference to us.
