I don't know if this will help anyone here but it helped me. For the first time, a whole bunch of Athletes Unlimited games are broadcast on Bally Sports. I have Youtube Tv (and I'm not changing) and they don't carry Bally. I'm sure there are others that can't get Bally but I don't know how widespread. Anyway, if you go to the Bally Sports website you can get the games either through the website or the app. Cost $20 for the month and then you can cancel. I was afraid it wouldn't work because when I tested it earlier this morning, several things I tried to play required that I also login with my tv provider and I don't have a tv provider that is authorized. But today's first AU game worked and you didn't need the extra sign in. So, there will probably be at least 10 games or more on Bally before the AU season is over so you're talking $2 or less per game. While I wish it was free, and I wish AU would stay with the ESPN networks, I'm not complaining since I can still get the games for a nominal cost.
For those who may be interested the book, BODY FOR LIFE by Bill Phillips is now available online as a pdf for free at This book provides a 12 week plan and a lot of good information on nutrition and strength training. My wife and I did the program 25 years ago and I can attest that it works. Now in our 80’s, with health related problems , we still maintain a workout routine weights, ab exercises and light cardio. Nutrition, not so much, unfortunately! If you don’t have a routine, perhaps you can get some motivation from this book. After all, we need to get in the best shape of our life before the season starts in February.
I don’t see any posts since I posted this “Off Topic” post two days ago. It was intended to be a reply to Gator Legend’s post about flag football. Is is possible there have not been any activity for two days or have I been banned?
Nothing going on right now in the college softball & baseball worlds until it gets reported which freshmen have reported for classes, especially in baseball. Most of us are kind of gearing up for the start of football season.
lol....I doubt you have been banned for a supposed "off-topic" post. If so, and what still leaves me confused and scratching my head, I would have been banned long ago. There are some here, not many, since this is the board I've pretty much isolated to because "most" of the people here are reasonably sane and knowledgeable, who apparently feel it their duty to never post or contribute but feel free to be negative to someone else. (That was a heck of a run on sentence). It is a dead period that will pick up once recruiting day of Sept 1 and Fall ball rolls around. And then we can go into the Townsen Thomas versus Taylor Shumaker debate when everyone will pile on my ass.
