I have filled out the online Diamond club form 3 times. Each time I have received the notice that it takes a couple of days to get invoice however I do not receive a follow up or invoice. Any suggestions on another method to contact someone as it appears nobody is monitoring the sign up.
Maybe I’m confused on the Diamond Club. I thought you meant tickets in the Diamond Deck at the baseball park. Correct, or something else?
@huunterhound After a little research I see that the Diamond Club is Softball’s booster club. There’s a contact form to fill out at the bottom of the first page on the website, and also an email address, so you can reach out and let them know the issue you’re having.
Yeah...that's what I filled out multiple times already with no responses. Kinda hard to generate support for a team when the group that generates support for the team is unresponsive. I will keep trying.
@huunterhound—you may contact by PM @MCB51, @ocalaman, or @apkgator and they may can help you. They are regulars here on the baseball board and are also frequent posters on the softball board. Good luck!
So you are trying to reach out to the softball boosters at UF? And no response correct? Let me see if I can reach out and find out what's going on...@scrappygator is another poster that follows our softball team
I gotta think this is an email going to spam thing or maybe an August vacation thing. hunterhound, don't give up! Diamond Gators is a great group of fans, they do good work, and are great boosters in every sense of the word. Besides supporting the players, some hang out with the player's family in the stands. I gotta think they -- without even intending it -- create a positive vibe for UF softball among the families, and we all know what a small world elite softball is. Unfortunately, things are starting to tilt toward NIL money, but to the extent that some future player/family asks around to former player/families, I think there's a core group of Diamond Gator members (many of whom are posters here) that help give UF a positive spin in that world.
The Diamond Club is a good group. But, they may not be very responsive until closer to the season. NIL is going to affect this club, but how much remains to be seen. It used to be that fans donated through the DC, and they have done a lot of good things for the program. Now, all donations are supposed to go through Florida Victorious with a designation for softball. That will change the purpose of the DC, but we can still gather and support as fans.
I think they are great ambassadors for the program, talking with parents in the stands and making them feel welcome. Regardless where the money goes, I doubt that will change.
