I hope she waits, the OF is crowded as it is with good players and only three positions.

 

I also agree but if she didn't reclassify why is she in a picture with this incoming class? Stay in Estero and play your senior year. The last Gator that came in early was Sam Roe and she never played up to her potential. Might have been a different story if she had waited.

To be in that picture, she must have reclassified. Maybe she plans on taking a redshirt but wants to start her education early which would mean she is college eligible already. She also won the 2A state championship this year so could be she feels like she has attained all she can in high school softball. Could be it's not all about softball for Kylie. If CTW approved this, it has to be the right fit. I'm just surprised this hasn't been announced other than in this video.

She is quite the player having excellent offensive stats and zero errors for the 2024 season.

EDIT: Definitely Makenna Bellaire, a catcher who also will have reclassified to become part of the 6 incoming freshmen in the video who will be arriving on campus in 12 days.

 

I’m almost positive that is Makenna Bellaire and not Kylie. And no, to have been included in pics taken on a visit does not mean she reclassified. I think I recall Lamar, maybe, being in pictures with the Keagan and Mia’s class as well.

The video in post #7601 says the 6 players will be on campus in 12 days. If so, Makenna would have had to reclassify to be part of 2024.

 

No, the video says “this class will be on campus.” Makenna or Kylie, is not in that class.

 

Suggest you look at the video again. It has 6 players reporting for the class of 2024 in 12 days. Also says it is the best class in the nation.

She might be coming as a red shirt, thus explaining why we don’t have an extra catcher for the bullpen. She may be the bullpen catcher this year.

What argument? We got it figured out.

Speculation is what we come here for. There has been talk here about needing a bullpen catcher. Now, we have a good one who might take over from Erickson in a couple of years.

 

So, no arguments and no speculation here. I 100% agree on arguments, but I'm calling BS on speculation not being worthy posts here. However, it looks to me like it is you who wants to be argumentative for reasons that escapes me.

As I recall, you questioned our transfer gymnast from UCLA too. That was you posting speculatively. I countered your opinion but would have never said your speculation wasn't worthy or is a waste of time.

Regardless, the video is speculative news. I found it noteworthy that Erickson commented on it with Bellaire being a catcher. Scrappy thought the video was post worthy or he wouldn't have brought it in.
