Yep. I was made aware of this meaning of the word later in life but it was a commonly used term and wasn’t seen as a bad thing in Jamaican circles. I suppose depending on the way you used it it might have offended, but it was very typical to use coolie as a physical description with no disrespect intended or received.
I get it, but I already knew what you told me. Since you replied directly to me, it seemed like you were trying to educate me on something I already knew.
Sorry, but this isn't the first time they've talked about Harris' birth certificate so you can get off of your high horse now.
You must like being bossy… it’s cool. And no I won’t be doing anything you suggest. It’s ridiculous and you know it. If it was member of the right bringing up some rando person posting on x the left would say the same thing. It’s dumb . But hey, if you really want to score those points for your team homages. I bet the cheerleading outfit looks good on you.
Once again that person is a fool. Who cares what Kamala calls herself. What I understand is “Black” is a skin color and not a race or nationality.
Once an allegation is made it cannot be take out of the universe. "I believe so-and-so touched me inappropriately in high school; but, but, I cannot be sure...." Sure - and so-and-so's life is never the same. I don't believe there's any law that a jury would find some guilty of for their mistaken or unsure belief. But, the damage is done anyway.
If they were going to attack parents you’d think they’d attack the father for being a professor with socialist leanings. Not this stupid stuff.
It doesn't prove that she is black. The only race listed on the certificate is Caucasian. "Jamaican" is not a race.
