There are a few never Trump Rs speaking out. Including the popular Mayor of Mesa, AZ. Mesa is a large suburb SE of Phoenix, and is the 4th largest city in population. Mesa is home to a large Latter Day Saints population that aren't happy voting for a man they perceive with no morals in Trump. The Mayor endorsing Harris could help sway a number of voters.
He seems lucid in this interview, as racist and sexist as ever: Trump suggests Harris would struggle with world leaders based on her appearance https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/07/30/trump-harris-play-toy-comment/ Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested that Vice President Harris wouldn’t be able to stand up to world leaders because of her appearance, adding that he didn’t want to spell it out but viewers would know what he meant. “She’ll be like a play toy,” Trump — who has a history of using sexist attacks and stereotypes in campaigns against women — said in a Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham... Trump then turned to look directly at the camera and added: “And I don’t want to say as to why. But a lot of people understand it.”
She is going to have a hard time because she is smoking hot? Hasn't been my experience.... seems like hot chicks get free passes all the time. Or was this about the color of her skin?
Americans cackled endlessly at the fading Soviet Union’s gerontocracy. Even then, Brezhnev and Andropov were only in their 60’s and 70’s. Flash forward to America where an 82 year old shadow president ousts an 81 year old president to increase chances of holding off a 77 year old challenger.
Jesus, this guy's a buffoon. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” Trump said. “I respect either one, but she obviously doesn’t, because she was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went — she became a Black person,” he said. “I think somebody should look into that, too.”

Republicans want someone younger than Donald Trump as president: new poll Republicans Want Someone Younger Than Donald Trump as President: New Poll Published Aug 01, 2024 at 7:13 AM EDT By Joe Edwards Live News Reporter In a fresh polling blow for Donald Trump, a majority of Republican voters have said they would prefer a president who is younger than the 78-year-old former commander-in-chief. In a YouGov poll conducted between July 25-29, 59 percent of Republicans surveyed said they would prefer a president under the age of 75. Trump celebrated his 78th birthday in June. Forty percent said they had no preference, and just two percent said they would prefer a president over the age of 75. Newsweek has contacted the Trump campaign for comment via email outside of standard working hours. Democratic voters were particularly keen on a younger candidate, with 73 percent indicating they would prefer a president 64-years-old or below. Twenty-four percent had no preference. YouGov said the poll was conducted online among 2,266 U.S. adult citizens, and the margin of error was approximately three percent. A separate poll conducted by Reuters and Ipsos last week found that 53 percent of U.S. adults nationwide (from a sample size of 1,241) agreed with the statement that Trump is too old to work in government, whilst 43 percent disagreed. This latest poll could suggest the tables are turning on Trump, who regularly attacked his former rival, President Joe Biden, over his age. Biden is 81. Trump seemed to row back on this sentiment at recent remarks at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. "81 is not old," he said, and now Biden has withdrawn from the race, Trump is faced with a substantially younger competitor in Vice President Kamala Harris, born October 20, 1964.
Can't blame them. Must be tough having to watch the senile old man representing your party ramble incoherently.
Jerry Brown, white governor, Wilie Brown, black mayor...I can see how he gets them confused..not Trump said he ‘went down’ in helicopter ‘emergency landing’ with former San Francisco mayor, who says it never happened (msn.com) “I know Willie Brown very well. In fact, I went down in a helicopter with him. We thought maybe this is the end. We were in a helicopter going to a certain location together, and there was an emergency landing,” Trump told reporters gathered at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for his first news conference since the Democratic ticket was announced. “This was not a pleasant landing, and Willie was, he was a little concerned. So I know him, I know him pretty well. I mean, I haven’t seen him in years,” Trump continued. Brown, however, rejected Trump’s account as “obviously wrong” during a phone call later Thursday with CNN, saying: “I’ve never been in a helicopter with him in my life.” The New York Times reported Thursday that the former president apparently confused Willie Brown with former California Gov. Jerry Brown, with whom he toured wildfire damage by helicopter in November 2018. A spokesperson for Jerry Brown told the Times that “there was no emergency landing and no discussion of Kamala Harris.”
Words for the ages that will be etched into granite for all to see in a grand structure to honor his infinite greatness and wisdom.
