For several sports including FB, Round ball , baseball, softball and vollyball. For Football the roster limit will be 105. This takes effect in 25 im told. It will be interesting to watch as apparently this will eliminate walk ons. Every one on the roster will go on scholly up to the 105 number

This sounds really unfair to the lower level programs.

The rich get richer and the poor fall farther behind. This is the way.

Should foster even more portal entrants once players on teams with a four deep figure out they won't see the field.

I do think its much better for baseball and softball. Of you make the team so to speak, you will get a full ride and not a partial. Still a lot of unanswered questions.

Exactly what the NCAA wants to happen... effect the current NIL system with these crazy rules...in hopes that enough small schools will cry to change it to full employment NONSENSE, BS.

It's more likely that the NCAA just wants to cash the current NIL system.

They’re already screwed with the transfer portal as is. Any student who played well is gonna transfer up. This will just accelerate their decline

This should accelerate the move to a super league.

Hard to know what the NCAA's angle is, right? They trying to find a way to put the toothpaste back in the tube?

Candy, there are no limits to this. NONE
The only "limits" will be when the cash machine runs out.

I think the team that pays $$$$ for 66 of the best players in the country would win vs spreading their $$ over 105 players. NFL has 52? BYU the last 3 years has 125 on the team and all Walk Ons are full ride. They have to do missions for 2 years so I guess it makes sense.

Hey Candy, how about womens sports? How do these limits affect them? Does Title IX have a say in this? As far as Kirby recruiting prisons, he will see some familiar faces there.
