    Takes down US flag at the capital,
    burns the US flag,
    and hoists up Palestinian flag in place of the destroyed US flag.

    One heroic American takes the burning flag away from the scene as pro-palestineans give chase.

    Another defaces a government statue

    Is having a war criminal currently engaged in a campaign of mass murder speak to congress acceptable?

    I dont think so either. Which one of these episodes is more likely to endanger American credibility ... I guess you can decide.

    What is the context of this picture and what does it have to do with the current riot & damage at capital hill?

    I believe that only US citizens have the right to protest/support of whatever they believe in this country whether other citizens agree with them or not. That's always been the American way. Only US citizens should be able to purchase fire-arms, etc.

    However, no foreign country or other foreign entities should be allowed to fund political groups in this country which is what is happening in these highly organized protests in many US campuses (i.e UCLA, Harvard, etc.) and now at the nation's capital.
    =============================================

    I am specifically talking about these immigrant protestors (funded by an outside-force, Iran, who are trying to destabilize/pressure the US) who are taking advantage of the 1st Amendement right to protest but abusing that right with property defacement and replacing the US flag with a foreign flag. - unacceptable!

    The whole world is seeing how Iran can cause all this mischief/chaos in the USA (& other democratic countries ?Canada, Germany, etc.) without firing any shot but just recruiting a lot of 'useful idiots' to do their bidding.

    Iran is a totalitarian Muslim nation with no democratic core values. Yet, they are weaponizing our own core democratic processes for Iran's own self-interest.
    ===============================================

    Are countries like China, Russia or Saudia Arabia importing a huge number of immigrants (that don't assimilate into their societys) & allowing them to form dissident groups to organize & oppose that countries' policies? I don't think so.

    So, why is the US immigration policy allowing so many of these radical, left-leaning people (from questionable places) to come to our country? Is there not a vetting process?

    These immigrants are also bring along their 'Old World' problems with them and trying to make them 'our' problem also as a whole.
    Frankly, I am not that interested. Worry more about what is happening in our country and not some other countries' problems (i.e Ukraine, etc.).

    When you are an immigrant coming to another country, you are there to have a 'fresh' start, let go off your hostilities, etc. One should not go into another country to bring that country down.

    Ultimately, these protestors who broke the laws need to be rounded up, do jail time for breaking our laws and finally be deported.

    If they were 'legal' immigrants, these actions should disqualifying them from ever becoming a US citizen!

    ======================================
    Btw, I became a naturalized US citizen on my 19th birthday while pursuing my degree at UF. I have no problem with legal immigration to the US as long as these people try to assimilate and do not break any laws.

    One has to wait twelve years before they can go through the naturalization process. My high school civics class helped me to pass the us-interview process with no problem. I also had to convince them that I am no communist (but these days it seems to be in vogue to be a socialist).

    I here that civics is not being offered anymore in schools which is a shame because that was where I learned much about the US government (i.e, 3-branches, checks & balances, etc.) and many famous cases that went to the US supreme court that shaped US policy for decades.
    =========================================
    Sorry if my post is rambling and long.

    That's a lot. I don't know everything on this. But.....

    1) How do you know where any protesters are from, or their citizenship? The color of their skin?

    2) My picture is relevant in that : Do you only take offense to (alleged) immigrants protesting violently?

    3) I'm pretty sure that every post I've seen in this thread condemns both violence, and promoting a terrorist organization.

    4) How do you feel about the Republicans, at Trump's direction, refusing to vote for the most comprehensive border legislation we've seen in recent times?

    5) You are very opposed to foreign influence in the US. Is it safe, then, to assume that you are outraged at the Trump campaign for accepting help in an election from Russia?

    Yeah, what's your evidence for that? Do you need international funding to buy spray paint?

    wg, I admire your posts in many ways, but sooner or later, Americans must confront "Real-Politic". I despise the Israeli religous fanatics
    whom wish to impose Zionism and control on others, as unfairly as they have, in the region. I HATE B.N. Liar, crook, thief.

    Having posted that, IMO, Zionism PALES in comparison with fundamentalist Islam. P-A-L-E-S.
    Israel has emerged from it's UN charter to be a productive, pro-western society that offers it's citizens,
    a better life.

    Sure, you can shoot plenty of holes in that statement. Yes I have sympathy for the Palestinians.

    But reality is clear, this is an ideological, economic, military and secular/religous struggle for survival.
    At least Israel is "part" secular and rational. I find the % on the other side as either non-existant or
    out of sight. (They better be, they will be murdered)

    While Israel has made something of itself, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and others have wallowed in their religous martydom
    and disgusting 8th century Islamic fanaticism. A male dominated, woman hating, close minded religous set of maniacs that have set their own
    table for self destruction. They are HAPPY to see women and children murdered to protect their early middle age lunacy.

    The Islamic extremist are using Western liberalism AGAINST US. They have stated as much and are happy to watch innocent women and children bleed
    for the cause. F them.

    You better wake the F up dude or you will be assigned your blanket to roll out 12 x a day.

    Yeah, I’ve heard some very smart people including the great Hannibal Lecter say this could be false flag operation by Bannon and his cronies to make the left look bad. Just like that shooter on the sloped roof turned out to be a registered Pub.

    I fail to see how eradicating the Palestinians and supporting a fanatical religious apartheid state will make us safer, that's REAL POLITIK too. Israel provides is nothing of strategic, economic or cultural value. We get nothing in return for this, except more 9/11s probably.

    I don't agree and I think you are letting your liberal values get in the way of a sword ready to cut off your face.

    Unless you are a Muslim, and if that is the case, I pity you.
