The stand down orders were called in by mule, obviously.

Similar to when the same politicians that dismissed Brooksley Born's warning about the credit crisis/off exchange derivatives and then wagged their fingers at financial executives during the following hearings. Politicians love to grandstand.

Agree that it was bad and frustrating. I did hear one of the members say she was under a subpoena, so I'm not sure if her presence was voluntary.

Suddenly, right wingers have an issue with the police investigating themselves! Amazing!

Although i think this is less ‘wake up call about police accountability’, and more about them wanting some fresh lamb at the sacrificial altar.

I'm not completely certain you're not a troll. Between her birth gender and your status, her gender seems much more certain.

Lol. My attempt to get along with everybody?
You're proof that I piss both sides off on the regular.

If I wanted to please people I would just entrench into a side and have half of them click "like" all day.

Nah, I think I am comfortable just saying how I feel.

Now as for Doc's post. You missed his point by a mile.Everyone sees that but you.

She and the Dems are calculating that they will have swept that assassination attempt under the rug, with her taking the heat and getting run out of office. They are sadly mistaken.

    Such a good analogy.

I’m all for tarring and feathering the head of the Secret Service after that eff up. I’d also like to see plenty of the grandstanding politicians tarred and feathered.

At a minimum, some of her training should be to shut up in public so better trained shots don’t know the weaknesses of the SS.

It was inevitable that she was going to be fired or allowed to resign (and retain her pension). But understand that the SS is a smallish and tight knit group. They look out for one another and will do almost anything rather than embarrass the agency. There have been instances of a SSDirector testifying untruthfully to congress in the past. Nothing new. If the new Director has come up through the ranks as almost all of them have then he/she has marinated it that culture for decades. Meet the new boss same as……

Now, now, navy... troll is a harsh word for someone that you don't like. Don't you think? Even though it was funny.

Lol... now do all the people that let Mr. Crooks get a ladder to that roof with a rifle and not get a targeted by all those cops/snipers for several minutes before he got a shot off.

And why was Trump still allowed to speak when the cops/snipers had him in their sight on the roof with a rifle? Yeah, I'm sure they were all Pubs too...

Do you see how the Political Party of that shooter does NOT matter in this case?

Who stood to gain from Trump being shot at? Who stood to gain from Trump being assassinated? Do such basic Qs never cross your mind?

    Agree.

Bob Dole once said; “the most dangerous place in DC is between Chuck Schumer and a camera”. Certainly true of Schumer, and equally true of all the others as well.

So your contention is that a historically conservative organization conspired to allow another conservative to take pot shots at Trump?
