The World Cup ends either Saturday or Sunday. You've got to figure Tim won't be available until Monday or Tuesday. If, and I question that, she was in Alabama yesterday, then she has to wait around for a week as I said. Of course, and I don't believe anything that is reported on these other sites, she could in the meantime visit FSU and Duke or Georgia. If it is true we have offered her, and I don't know that it is, then she either has already visited or Tim, Amanda, Jocey and another unnamed person already spent a ton of time with her when they were together for a week in OKC before heading off for their various tournaments. No inside information. Nothing escapes Tim's program unless he wants it to be public. We know, on a day by day basis, every football recruit that visits and we know when they visit more than once. So, it can be done and there is no reason we can't know what is relevant to our softball program. Secrecy is the never ending result.
If true, giving up a Stanford degree for TT, over softball NIL money. I just don’t understand the world anymore.
Money is the world. She's getting st least 1 mil. I could look past a Stanford degree for that. Especially the balancing act she has to do as a Stanford student. I am absolutely shocked she didn't got to OU. They are officially back on planet earth.
10 years after graduation the average Stanford grad makes almost 50k more a year than a TT grad. Even if it is a million dollars, she would make that money back a couple of times over in staying there. And with a Stanford degree she can go anywhere in the world and it is valued, TT limits her post graduate opportunities. But maybe she plans on getting a masters somewhere prestigious, or maybe softball just means that much to her, or her family needs money, or whatever else. Her decision in any case. I never thought it would be UF so just glad it’s not Oklahoma.
With all due respect to Texas Tech, why would Canady want to go there? If it were us or 20 other teams I could understand it but not Tech. 29-21 last year.
