And that was a couple of months ago I believe. If we were on the right track then, staff has been building on that. The miami game is going to be crazy.

I feel like we are ahead of UM, but a win would prove it.

We have a lot going for us, at home, WRs, QB, good RBs. Need to pressure their QB.

Gotta throw in what HAS to be a much improved offensive line as well but yeah, after thinking about it we should definitely be more prepared to withstand an injury or two this year unlike last year.

Betting on your favorite team is a bad idea that I learned in HS. You tend to lose your objectivity.

  13. This team is definitely not the same as last year. Not only does this team have more transfers, but also more talented and experienced transfers. The Blue Chip Ratio for this team is around 74% compared to last year's team that was around 53%.

On the other hand, it is hard to bet against Vegas. We can only hope that the Vegas oddsmakers do not have a method of accounting for transfers. In a hypothetical situation that ignores Vegas, I would agree that the 2024 Gators vs the 2023 schedule wins 2-3 more games.

The other teams on our scheduled improved their teams also for the most part. FSU will not be as good imo, and LSU won’t be as good on offense. Miami significantly improved their team through the portal.

That's why this season is such a mystery as to who will improve the most. Yes, other teams got better, but some teams did get worse like FSU will not be the same team they were last year with the new QB.

Miami really "improved" their roster with portal and high school in 2023 also, but it got them nowhere. Their former starting qb has nearly identical qbr as their new and improved qb from the portal. Their former starting rb has .2 yards per carry more than their new and improved rb from the portal. I dont see tangible differences that make me think Miami is more competent than they were last year. They plugged holes that they created. That is all I see.

Ehh. I did one future last year. Ole miss over 7.5. They actually opened at 6.5 but I was being lazy and waited too long. I thought that was an easy bet as I had Ole Miss as one of the 10 best teams in the country. Easy money. I think Florida at 4.5 is wild. There is no way this team is going to be ass. It would take a colossal failure from BN.

Canes have a squad. Cam Ward is much better than TVD or that freshman they had. Damian Martinez is absolute bull at RB. Getting DE Tyler Baron from the Vols to pair with Bain is big for their pass rush. They also bring back a lot of guys. That will be a tough game in the opener, no doubt about it.
