A 20 year old registered Republican who donated to Democrats and has never voted in an election? Sounds non political to me

 

It's possible the Crooks that donated the $15 is a 60+ year old with the same name that lives in Pittsburgh. If true, doesn't change much.

Co-worker and former classmate says rally shooter gave no indication of trouble

A former classmate and co-worker of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman at Donald Trump’s Saturday rally, told CNN they remember Crooks as “the sweetest guy.”

“He was a friendly face in the hallway,” the co-worker, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told CNN. “He was kind of scrawny, nerdy and very smart. Not traditionally like the most popular person, but from what I saw, I didn’t think that he was super bullied.”

They added: “He was honestly so sweet and a really a pleasure to work with. So that has made all of this really hard because his name will probably go down in infamy, but to me, he will always just be like the super sweet kid from work.” The colleague said they didn’t recognize the picture painted of Crooks after his actions.

“He’s not a radical,” they said, noting that he never expressed any political views at work. “It’s hard seeing everything that’s going on online because he was a really, really good person that did a really bad thing. And I just wish I knew why.”

 

And there is this report. Apparently kid was around guns his whole life and tried out for the High School “rifle team”.. yep, a nice liberal hobby, but was a bad shot. Gun nut.

The figurative reference is not a call to violence. It refers to shifting the conversation away from calls for Biden to drop out and toward Trump. And refers to Trump having ten free days without scrutiny while Trump played golf.

And it was made to political donors.

Nobody could read the statement as a call to shoot Biden.

Huh, I just looked it up myself and it does appear the donation came from Pittsburg, not Bethel… and there is a Thomas Crooks that lives in Pittsburg…

I wonder why the news sources ran with this…

 

Edit, upon further review, the zip code listed matches Bethel Park, not Pittsburg, so it was probably was the shooter.

 

It’s like if Trump says, “Republicans need to beat Biden in 2024”, and somehow Democrats tried to say it was a call to physically beat him up.

 

Unfortunately, Trumpers aren't interested in reading full quotes in proper context. They want edited BS that makes them feel good about pandering in LIES.
