Well you wanted to post about the “Sunshine State” which is in the sign. But clearly you have defined my point…the pettiness is from those that hate DeSantis.

Because you clearly failed to take the time to even notice your beef was in the sign. Your beef is really with DeSantis.

Stories on dozens of media outlets about it. Multiple threads with dozens or hundreds of responses.
Yeah, someone must care one way or the other.

    LOL!!!

If you think anyone other than DeSantis haters give a rip (and most DeSantis haters would not bat an eye either) you are delusional.

    This thread defines PETTY!

This is pretty funny. You’re telling someone else to cry about it when you have responded to a single post with two of your own that you posted almost two hours apart.

My father and my uncles were all commercial fishermen. I spent my youth on the back of a shrimp boat, my HS job was working at a shrimp processing facility and offloading grouper boats. Hard ass work to say the least.

White boots. Always. Way back then and now. I have a pair sitting in my office rt now.

BTW, recreational fishermen here in Florida also typically wear white boots if they are wearing rubber boots

As those of us multi-generational Floridians who grew up on the water know, go to any fisherman supply store, white rubber boots are the standard. Not even thought about

White boots are a southern thing for sure. When I was working on a commercial salmon boat in Alaska it was all grey or black. Not sure why the difference up there. I wonder if it's a heat retention/reflection thing.

8 locations in the whole country so far, and they are looking to add a location in FL. LMAO. Did the guy who wrote that work for the company?

Don’t think “wild eyed lefties” have anything to worry about, as no (sane) grocery store or large chain would want the liability of having that in their store. I could see it being a niche product sold to small independent grocers or “general stores” that sometimes still exist in small towns (and who already stock guns and ammo). This is probably where their “8 customers” are.

Yeah, the insurance for our bar gets all concerned when we advertise things like drinking games. I can't imagine trying to run an ammo vending machine by an insurance company. Especially in a crazy litigious state like Florida.

Just making the point. My posts are to prove my position. You have definitely shown this was about your dislike of DeSantis.

I did a quick search. Appears it does have to do with white being considered cooler in the warmer weather. Also they show up in murky water better which apparently helps avoid snakes as a safety reason. But I think the heat would be the main reason. Along with it is the style because of that…
