I take 0 as "send him to a dementia ward" and 10 as the 2024 version of Reagan's "I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience".

The optimum for Trump -- Biden 100% stays as nominee but is 100% in clear cognitive decline -- is about a 5. This performance struck me as 3 or 4. (Context: I plan to hold my nose and vote for Biden, but wouldn't feel the need for nose-hold-age with Harris.)
