Oh, he will play point. He's the only one really in line to take the roughly 20 minutes I believe are available at the PG spot. If he develops, they are all his. If he doesn't....then Clayton and Martin will be forced to play more at PG, which I believe is far from ideal. But something about this PG situation (and who we're recruiting) just doesn't add up for me. Don't have the time to ponder it further, but this thread will be fun to revisit if we indeed end up with a stud PG transfer. I don't have any insider connections, so just at a high level, I believe this will be the case....and I recognize I am in the minority here....and I do note what C. Harry said on this post.
On an “international” note, the top 2 NBA draft picks are from France, as well as #6. That’s pretty incredible, especially considering last year’s #1 (Wendy) was from France too
Wow, big pull. Golden has definitely added a lot of talent this year. Very impressed he could fill the bench with high quality additions.
That was an obvious call for me...SO glad he's coming, and I look forward to revisiting this thread when he's playing 25+ minutes per game at the point! : ) "Expect Klavzar to play right away and provide high level reads and leadership" The "ceiling" for the season (for me) was just raised quite a bit.
That sucks, I had high hopes for him, but we seem to be in great shape at the point now regardless. I have wanted an experienced PG most of all this offseason. Without Pullin we don't make the dance last season.
Another poster said to expect a Wing to commit soon. Kinda of surprised when Urban committed. Watched his film... this guy can play! As soon as it happened, I was thinking the same thing.
Now that someone else posted this....I feel the same, and it was part of what was fueling my opinion. It's all guesses at this point, but feeling the same as you.
