But as long as we're handing out advice, unsolicited, don't be so emotional about this. Florida Football is a business, a huge and expensive business. We all want the same outcome here, and Coach Napier is paid impressive dollars to get us on the move toward that outcome. What we disagree on is the amount of time he has to show visible, undeniable progress. And that's fine. We disagree. It's not something to get angry about.

 

Fine; everyone disagrees with you. This is a good reason to STFU in the meantime.

Who? Me? I was the one saying that Mullen should’ve been fired after that embarrassing South Carolina loss in 2021 but I was told I was being a bad fan. Funny how you guys try to revise history here.

 

Ahhh, the age old tactic to take a losing argument and reroute it into “don’t get so emotional” and “nothing to get angry about” BS. Skip all that nonsense and just stop bashing our coach.

 

It seems to me that the personal attacks of Too Hot are seeping into this board.

I stand firmly with our coach and believe that he came along at the worst possible time- with a unhealthy, unpopular program, the train wreck of a neutered NCAA, a clown show of a transfer portal, and the infernal NIL snow cone truck playing its tune while running through every neighborhood.

People have other opinions, but I’m not going to dehumanize them, call them trolls, and tell them to leave because they’re just as emotional in their opposition to my opinions.

I certainly don’t want to deal with hard feelings when we eventually start winning again.

 

It's hard not to conclude that you're dealing with a troll when the narrative switches to the "you guys are totally overreacting to my ill-conceived, blatantly antagonistic BS with facts and a firm refusal to be gaslighted - that's not fair!" The inevitable dodge goes something to the effect that we are being mean to him and that we are in fact the aggressors - while simultaneously being a herd of sheep, blindly following a failed HC into oblivion. It gets old after a while.

You do understand that there are people posting on this board with the sole purpose of disrupting support for our team and damaging our recruiting efforts. They are typically referred to as “trolls”, and they are quite human in their objectives.

I have no problem with ‘hard feelings’ with these humans.
