Yes, it matters to the contracts terms, which in Auburn and LSU have to be explicit because what is tolerated behavior for requirements in hiriing their head coach, will not match up with that contract's terms of behavior detrimental to the prestige of the school, hence why there are so many recycled Freezes, Durkins, Petrinos, Brileys, etc. in the SEC (but not UF).
Oh, if we’re talking hiring coaches previously fired for misconduct at another school, yep, got it. I was only addressing the common misconception that these buy-outs are absolute. A little misconduct, real or imagined, takes care of that buy-out nicely.
And the clown coaches thought they were untouchable right up to their losing all that dough. Hubris is a job requirement for coaching it seems.
Pup and James will most likely be the starters with Wingo as the back up. Also, RJ Moten is up to 230 lb and has had a lot of snaps at Michigan at safety, so he should be an asset on 3rd and long at LB. Also, don't forget about our 5 star LJ at DL.
Lj could make some noise. Pass rush is not very complex if he can learn his respond and not pull a Princely and watch the run go right by him.
My analyst skills are non-existent. I had our DL and LBs as the weak link. EA Sports ranks our D at #25? Florida Gators get Surprising Ranking from EA Sports College Football 25 Top 10 OL. Top 10 QB. Top 25 D. All SEC WR. Solid RBs and TEs. All analysts can coach on the sidelines now. Gators +4.5 on the over is free money b/c we're winning 8 games!
Scoring D at 25th last season would have been a full TD better so probably 3 more wins. Top 10 OL? Would be great.
