Baseball vs TAMU, Wed 6/19, 7:55 pm EDT

Ump has money on the game. It was decided before first pitch. Billions in gambling. I am losing interest in sports

 

It was a “make up” for the “strike two” Ol’blue just called on him…

 

I don't know who I would want to win between tenn and am..don't care for either team

 

That is a very impressive era, especially over 68 innings.

 

Any season that ends in Omaha is successful. The goal is to win the title and you only have a chance to do that in this ballpark.

The regular, good and bad, got us that chance. Unfortunately, our weaknesses caught up with us against TAMU.

In the end we tie for 3rd out of 64.

 

Don’t like either but would rather A&M I think I just can’t stand the UT coach.

 

Because we swing and miss

Last game Cortez had 17 swinging strikes and 6 called strikes. Almost none of those SS were in the zone.

We whiff… a lot

This game we have 26 swinging strikes, they have 19.

Neely gets the most for us. They had their #4 starter going.

First TAMU game we got 20 SS. Thats respectable. Yet we whiffed a whopping 32 times.

 

Yeah..that tenn coach is a jerk

 

But big mama is in sound check right now

 

Id give Aggie coaches some credit. They didn't pitch Prager their ace in game 1 since the Gators routed him in Gville. Instead they went with the lefty and it has worked out twice for them.

 

Been that kinda night. I liked our morning better.

 

I'll be pulling for Texas A&M all the way. My least favorite schools are, in order, FSU, Georgia, Tennessee. Plus I like A&M's coach. He did a great job at TCU before coming to A&M and is a pretty good guy from all I've read.

I agreed to quickly with 51 above. Now that I think about it I agree with you. Aggie coach is much more likeable than the cream sickle orange guy and it seems we should pull for the team that knocked us out.

 

Hats off to Neely. We're not here without him.

 

Hey, not giving up, but wanted to make one last post for this season. I could not be more proud of this team. Last year we had literally multiple MLB stars on that team and it hurt losing that last game when deep down inside I know we had the best team. One could argue even better than the team that won it all.

Let's be honest, this team has one MLB star and a bunch of dudes. Making the tournament based on how this season went was a pleasant surprise. What has happened since then has been incredible. We eliminated Oklahoma State and Clemson on the road and eliminated NC State and Kentucky in Omaha. This loss doesn't hurt one bit. Was the strike zone crap, absolutely. I feel nothing, but pride in this team. FSU had one of their best seasons in a long time and their locker room was cleared out before ours. Miami? At home. Both our guys and gals made it to the cws. Amazing. Let's pull for A&M so Tennessee and that awesome (sarcasm) coach can go home empty handed.

I was less chatty this season, but I was here. Always appreciate Gatorgal and my friends 74, Wing, Bazza, and many others. Hey did I mention our basketball team looks really good this year!
