Is the RF playing tonight for TAMU?

 

Post game Sully said Liam Peterson will start.

 

7pm edt. No one gives us a chance. Bring it on!!!! We Are The Florida Gators. We ARE winning this game.

Hope not. He was the difference in our losing 3-2 instead of winning 4-3. We outplayed aTm and still lost game 1. I like our chances against aTm as I did coming into the CWS.

 

What about the weather tonight?

 

I'd like to thank those fans who were thrown out the other night for signing their teams death warrant thereby sending them to Homeaha!

 

I know we listed 7PM EDT start, but there's ~0% of that happening. FSU/UT is starting 45 minutes late, I'm guessing this game starts an hour later than scheduled.

 

Especially if the F$U/UT game goes into extra innings - I put in a request to the witch doctor that they should at least go 12 innings

 

I hope they play till midnight. Push our game until tomorrow. If we have to play a double header, at least the other team would also have had to play in both games.

 

Very little chance of rain until late night, wind only 5 to 10 mph out of NNE (slightly in from left).

 

I am doing my rain dance now, but don’t know if will work from Gainesville. I’m probably just gonna end up wet here.

As to if it rains or not....
Since our arms are ready for tonight, I think it's better if we go ahead and get tonight's game in. That way we only have to play 1 tomorrow and we might get a few arms back for another game tomorrow even if they pitch tonight. It's all one big what if but I feel we have a better chance of winning tonight, then coming back again tomorrow, instead of trying to beat A&M twice tomorrow.

Of course, there are several things at play such as if Tennessee wins today or if it rains tomorrow that could change the schedule going forward. I don't want us playing on Friday with a 3 game series looming this Saturday.

Is Mike Martin coaching today? Just asking. I want his “record” to remain intact and I’m not talking about his number of wins.

 

Home and away should be like Basketball. Higher seeded team gets the home slot. You work all year for that. Being visitor at your home field in regional and supers is just stupid and a slap in the face to the regular season.

 

Let’s take 2/3 against them as we did to start the season.

 

Assuming the header at the NCAA Baseball MCWS site is correct. Also, since the Gators will need to win two games against TAMU. The Gators will be the home team tonight, and visitors in the if necessary game. Same as in the on-going UT vs. FSU game.
