Postponement puts Neely back in the equation vs Kentucky... PS: does anyone else think the organist at the ballpark is over-the-top? - it is incessant- even between pitches. Needs to chill.
I don’t even remember hearing it when I was there. I found the field hype man guy or whatever the hell he is and all the junk him and his team did to be a bit obnoxious though.
Can’t say I agree with that. The pros have high-level pitching coaches that could work his arm strength up and ability to pitch more consistently and longer innings. That’s usually the aim of Aaa is to do that before the guys move into the Bigs. I certainly think he’s going to be an elite hitter. Possibly an elite pitcher but we’ll see.
They should have moved up the start times to Tuesday's (today) elimination games. They knew the darn weather forecast last night. Just about handing Tex A&M a slot in the Championship Series.
If we can get by UK tomorrow at 11, maybe it will storm again tomorrow night and postpone the game(s) with A&M till Thursday. Grasping at straws for ways to keep the season going.
Getting a tired arm with just the college season that is way shorter than any pro season is a bad sign for him as a pro pitcher. But we all knew that he was going to The Show playing 1B and not as a pitcher,
Thanks Bazza. Here's hoping the boys get crooked on the board against the cats..... And the aggies, if a second game tomorrow night. GO GATORS!!!! So many games in a day, reminds me of my softball playin' tournament days....
Maybe position the cables in front of the UK dugout and mistakenly run 120v in a few of them….it would be shocking….
Somebody has got to slow these CWS powers-that-be boys down. Do they not have any idea the amount of TV recording, canceling and revised recording programming they’re requiring of me? I mean, I’m not real good at this stuff. Not fair.
Matside, This is brilliant and funny at the same time.. underachieve and overachieve in the same season, Even the Same Game. Look at the last Clemson game. UF batters struck out 20 times but somehow won.. The A&M game, UF struck out 16 times and almost won. They had multiple opportunities to win. When you think that a team had 16 SO’s you would think they got clobbered, It was a one run game. Sometimes it’s interpreted as being negative or unsupportive if you post “how can a team play this bad” or “is it possible to strike out again”, but its more of a comedy of success at this point. This team has been so good/bad but are still playing. As one poster stated they are 1 of the 5 remaining teams.
