Maybe we shouldn’t let GOP members or Pastors read to children in Libraries anymore. It should definitely be a crime to bring a child to a GOP event or Church. i'm not sure why they're bothering. there was a criminal investigation that ended when the prosecutor decided that the two key witnesses - his co-conspirator (who was convicted of felonies) and his victim (who started performing in adult videos when she turned 18) wouldn't play well in front of a jury. but hey, if the house ethics committee wants to remind his constituents what a POS he is, i guess that's fine.

Sounds like what happened here, since he described it as a “house where I was staying”. So… a family friend or something who just happened to have a 12 year old daughter? I guess… at least this guy admitted it instead of lying. To the churches credit he was asked to step down in 1987 and go through "treatment". Apparently with the blessing of her father(?). 1st off, wth dad??? 2nd he should have never been allowed back.and should have been prosecuted . (Agian WTH dad???!!!) 3rd. She is a strong Christian who didnt lose her faith when that could have easily happened. I feel this adds credibility to her story, as she doesnt seem to be seeking anything or vengeful in any way. I love how he calls her a “young lady” to try and make her sound older. It was a freakin 12 year old girl. She could have even been pre-pubescent. this is my biggest problem with churches though. This stuff needs to be reported to the police, they have zero legal or even moral authority to be judge and jury on what’s right in these cases. If they don’t report a crime, lock them up too. See how long “repentance” stays as the course of action for these idiots.
