I think you missed the point. I was using your post to take a shot at the Putin Bots as the word "desperation" lent itself to that purpose.

 

You're a disgrace to people who can read if you think two command and control planes WON'T make at least some difference in the air war to a country that does not have any of these planes. I am assuming that they can protect these planes and keep them in the air, but presumably someone has thought of that issue before they decided to give these planes to Ukraine. There is a reason that Ukraine is doing everything they can to knock Russia's A-50 command and control planes out of the air.

 

Putin fires four deputy defense ministers, and promotes the daughter of a deceased cousin to a position as a defense minister. Apparently the four were not rabid enough to represent the barbarians of Russia, and his niece is more of a barbarian than they were.

Nothing like a heady mixture or paranoia and nepotism to show how unglued you are getting. Just waiting to see what government positions Putin has in mind for his children.

Ukraine appears to be running low on servicemen. Maintaining the current level of support probably won't be sufficient in another year or so. If the right-wingers take over Europe and the US and support dwindles, then the end will probably be near.

It's pathetic to think Zelensky is OK with his country getting decimated, Ukraine's military and civilian population being slaughtered, its children kidnapped and women raped so that he can ride on the "gravy train." You must live in a very ugly, very dark place.

I did see a report this AM that Putin is trying to sell a small portion of SE Russia to China, but haven’t found confirmation.

 

China views the east asian part of Russia as being theirs and at some point they intend to have it back. Take it by force, buy it, or co opt it back.

 

Naturally. So instead of going to war, Putey is begging the Chinese "please please please, let me sell you the land."
