Would a Trump DOJ prosecute Biden for treason?

It’s only because I have blocked several other posters that I am unable to determine whether your posts are the most worthless and ridiculous posts that we have had on this message board in many years, but they are clearly in the running.

 

I think that Trump’s actions leading up to January 6 and thereafter could reasonably be considered treasonous.

Seditious, maybe. The constitution gives a very narrow definition of what constitutes treason. Probably because under English law, the founding fathers were all considered traitors.

No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The use of the word “only” is significant. The framers intended that the charge of treason would not be expanded to become a political weapon.

Aid and Comfort to Enemy — such as providing money to a belligerent nation or assistance to enemy soldier — can only be committed during time of war. Can you please show us how Biden has satisfied those conditions?

 

I think that Treason would be a ridiculous charge.

One thing that I would love to see going forward would be that every House, Senate, and President, AND their families get the same level of investigation and audit that Trump has received since 2016. I realize that would end up in 95% removal from office because that’s how many are corrupt, but so be it

 

If SCOTUS rules that presidents have full immunity with respect to actions while in office, what are the odds that Biden even allows Trump to take office?
