New CPI released this morning. Inflation drops to 3.3% annually due to an individual month of no overall change in prices. Energy prices decreased by 2% just in May. 0.1% increase in May for food. No change for commodities other than food and energy. Services increased by 0.2% overall.

Markets up across the board in response.

Fed rate announcement today at 2PM. I expect a cut in the rate as well as a UF football national championship this year so you can baseline my objectivity.

It's interesting, I hadn't really noticed the increase in food prices until my youngest was home for summer. Boy can eat.
Edit: I did notice higher beer prices, luckily I drink a lot less beer than I used to.

First of all, any positive news is fake news. That summary can't be trusted, nor can the stock market being up +300 points this morning.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, Hunter Biden!

    So, yeah.

Exactly. This is just more persecution of Trump and election interference. When will it end? In November, I guess. Unless the election is stolen again!

No sir. As I've gotten older, alcohol has started impacting the quality of my sleep more. I work out a lot, sleep is very important for my recovery and performance.
Still drink beer, wine and whiskey but not nearly like I used to.

This is supremely good news. I’ll inform management the next time my wife and I go out to lunch.

3 up & 1 down in the rate of inflation isn't inflation going down, just a cut on the increase. Rate cuts? LOL.

Thank you for again demonstrating that you don't understand what inflation is.
