He is a project but you can’t teach size. Glad he is with us. Hard work on conditioning and practice could be rewarding.

Well, I don't think "explosiveness" is something he'll ever be known for. What we want is for him to work on getting up and down the floor, strength, lateral movement, and stamina. Get that in the toolbox and he'll be a solid player.

definitely, but he can work on quick-twitch exercises and improve in that area....I'm not saying 40" vertical and hang-time, but quick(er) (more) powerful moves. yes agree overall mobility is key, that and stamina

Boy’s gonna need a lot more weight to play in the SEC. I’m an expert in gaining weight.

It’s an odd fit with our “run and gun” style imo.

Although practicing w/ this team could be good for his conditioning, it’ll be a whole different leap for him to get in games for extended minutes. But it’ll be interesting to see. Obviously if he became a Zack Edey type prospect you’d probably have to adapt the system to the player somewhat, but sounds like for now it’s just “see what happens” in a couple years and see how his fitness develops.

    Peanut butter.

As best as I can tell, the sole purpose of peanut butter is weight gain

If UF’d buy him a Bassomatic he could make strawberry shortcake, cheesecake and peanut butter smoothies. Be really round mound of rebound in no time.

He weighs 300 pounds. Are you figuring that he needs to get up to about 400 pounds?

I am pretty sure that you can still get Carnegie Deli sandwiches by mail order. Some of those babies are 6 inches deep in meat. That might work.

Gonna be fun watching this young man develop! It sure is nice to see all these tall bodies on the roster!
It wasn't long ago we were lucky to have one 6'-9" guy, now it seems we have a bunch of em!

Looks like UF will be pretty dang good again with the new additions and the return of the veterans. Really hoping Aberdeen takes off as against A&M.

This lineup looks like a good mix of offense, defense and size!

Last year was really fun with UF returning to a very competitive level.

    Is it basketball season yet?

He's actually shockingly filled out for such incredible height...heck most seniors in high school over 6-6 are downright skeletal. He's taller than Manute Bol and looks twice as thick...

The food of the gods is: peanut butter, mayonnaise, and banana sandwich.
