Haven't paid much attention to them this year, but here are Clemson's stats: Clemson - Season Statistics .299 BA, 103 HR, .512 SLG, .968 FLD 4.45 ERA, .244 BAA They look like a very good squad. Best numbers pitching-wise are by a freshman from SW Florida, Aidan Knaak, but it looks like Tristan Smith and Ethan Darden get the Friday night starts. Five guys with double digit HR, including two over 20.
jd— The Super Regional brackets are staggered by one day with one side of the bracket starting on Friday and the other side starting on Saturday. I assume it’s done this way to match up with the two sides of the CWS bracket having staggered day starts.
This will be a tough Super to win. Clemson plays in the second best baseball conference and are solid. We have to bring our A game and have a bit of luck. They say that football is a game of inches but baseball is a game of millimeters.
This super regional is very winnable. We have beaten 2 out of the top 8 seeds in 3 game series. Our pitching right now is the best that it has been all season.
Peterson has shown to be the Friday night guy next season. He has really learned how to pitch this season. I really like him as a pitcher. That doesn't mean he will win this game but he will give us a chance.
They will have their fans and we won’t. UF Ticket office on the website stated they did not get any visitor allotment. Have to rely on TM resale.
I think they give their entire allotment to family. They said the same thing to softball fans, but the softball families were definitely at the games and appeared to have a section all together. Would be extremely hard to put that many seats together with resale tix.
yes. I know they only gave players family their tickets, but that was it. No tickets to sell. The prices on TM are laughable at this point.
Family should get first crack at tickets so I have no problem with that. Now will the Gator parents get any screen time? In 2017 during the best of three championship series against LSU it looked like the Gators were all orphans because it seemed like they only showed LSU parents.
They relentlessly showed Kim Mulkey, who is not easy on the eyes. They did show the families at the wcws quite a bit this week, but they weren’t hyper focused on them. We did have a famous alum in the crowd there too, but my guess is he asked not to be the center of attention. I’ve not heard his name mentioned at all over the last few weeks and when he makes it on camera, it’s usually just because the camera is showing that area, not focused on him.
Funny I was hoping Mia would hit one out to see if the family would like to be seen getting the ball presented. Last thing anyone of us want to see is White Chocolate fumbling the ball for a turnover since its not the same size. Not like that's ever going to happen.
