It appears young Mr. Griffin throws a very catchable ball and stand confidently in the pocket when not on a designed rollout. I tend to take highlights with a grain of salt. While they can show characteristics like arm strength, escapability, and speed, they also can leave questions. Many of the passes completed in this seven minute clip were first/second read on a single side of the field. I think I saw only three plays were he had to start his eyes on one side of the field and eventually throw to the opposite. In the SEC he won’t have the luxury of receivers running open and the windows will get much smaller. With all of that said, he looks to be a good pickup. Go Gators!!!
And he won't be a sophomore in HS getting thrown to the wolves when his turn finally does arrive in a few years.
He has the frame to and i expect will be the primary blocking TE but would seem to be an upgrade in the passing game from Hansen. Would be a nice pickup to pull away from Ole Miss.
So 4A means they can't have a talented team? You do realize that's just determined by the enrollment size. Cardinal Gibbons (ft. Lauderdale ) Cocoa Booker T. Washington (miami) Bolles (jax) Are just some of the schools that play in the 4A division.
If we had one commit and one decommit does that mean we had zero commits this weekend? NO 1 - 1 does not = 0 in recruiting 1 - 4 star add minus 1 - 3 star deduct equals a net gain of +.25 at least according to the recruiting services! LOL
