Classy move by CTW. It's the Florida way and why recruits want to come here.

 

Not me. That says a lot really. What can this team do if the offense wakes up? Kilfoyl pitched a gem so a tight low scoring game is understandable. Tonight our girls looked tight and scared.

 

We shouldn’t be struggling as badly as we have, but honestly this is probably the best caliber of pitching from all the teams that I can remember in the WCWS in a long time.

As good as Rothrock can be, we arguably have the last ranked pitching staff of the 8 teams.

 

I don’t know if this is a sort of transitive property but Texas barely beating A&M, who we beat, does not translate into us playing even and possibly beating Texas. There are far too many variables to suggest this happens. I wish it did! Not all the time, but most of the time, the better team in a given game usually wins.
I know this is obvious. We can still win more games in this tourney!

 

Freshman. I’d challenge our offense against bama by starting Ava against bama. Start hitting or go home. We will need best Keagan against Oklahoma. If we’re not gonna hit nothing matters. Great season nonetheless. We will beat bama. 2013 only won one game out here. This squad is getting at least two. Skylar is going to show Murphy what a catastrophic mistake he made.

 

For next year, Add the solid young women that are coming in to the equation....
We'll be deeper next year just with Red as a third option potentially.

This year's team needs to calm down, see pitches, and hit there pitch. Sounds easy but it's not. Give these young women a break if they look a bit tired... Our schedule the last month plus has been brutal.
Time to get after Bama and get on a roll.
As said repeatedly, just be proud of these great young athletes!!

Agreed. 2013 was an overachieving year also and all they did was back to back natties the next two seasons. Both young teams with no expectations. This WCWS experience for such a young team is priceless.

 

Not just get here but get a win, they will get another win against bama and maybe even more. The book of this season isn’t finished being written yet.

 

I completely agree but the version of the Gators that took the field tonight wasn’t an honest representation of this team. Maybe they win maybe they lose but tonight wasn’t up to Gator softball standards.

 

If nothing else we get to send bama packing. There’s joy to be had in that.
