My impression was this is where they are currently measuring football programs. I saw the tiers on X, but I'm not certain what their basing it on!
It’s EA sports. They probably based it on very recent history. So that they can change it every year and give you more reason to buy a new game. I wouldn’t put too much into these rankings.
It’s based on ap finishes in the last ten years. It’s ea’s structure for how they’re going to distribute money to the schools.
It’s just average rankings last 10 years. I’m sure their prestige system in Dynasty mode is a more accurate representation.
You would think payments should be based on actual fan usage. For example, games on tv with actual viewership nationally. Since EA sports, why not based on actual team usage

I also suspect Clemson is waaay overated, but they play in the All Cupcake Conference, so maybe they will have the FSU effect. Just another brain dead sports "journalist" at work. Realized something earth shattering yesterday.. this will NOT be released on PC. Looks like I'll be shelling out over $500 for a PS5 and a copy of the game. Oh well, what am I going to do, NOT play this game?
