Somebody on Tiger Dropping Gymnastics Recruiting said UCLA HC Janelle McDonald put a like on Selena's decision. I'm wondering what might have been said between the two coaches on both Nya and Selena.

Updated Roster from College Gym News Including Selena Harris:

    Bri Edwards
    Morgan Hurd
    Ellie Lazzari**
    Riley McCusker
    Leanne Wong - ****Olympics Hopeful
    Lori Brubach
    Selena Harris***
    Alyssa Arana
    Kaylee Bluffstone
    Kayla DiCello - ****Olympics Hopeful
    Gabby Disidore
    Skylar Draser
    Danie Ferris
    Anya Pilgrim
    Skye Blakely* - 5-star freshman/****Olympics Hopeful
    Lily Bruce - 5-star freshman
    Taylor Clark - 4-star freshman

    *Deferring for Olympics
    **COVID Year
    ***UCLA Transfer
    **** Olympics Hopeful

Add Victoria Nguyen or take off Morgan Hurd as they are likely a package.

The 2025 roster is as strong and deep as it likely has ever been. I know of no other roster in the nation that is as talented and deep.

UF has 3 on the 2025 roster who will be vying for 3 of the 5 slots on the US Olympics Team for the Paris 24 Olympics.

When I make my predictions for the 2025 season in December, these Gators will be on the top of my list at #1.

Love for UF trumped by UK ship offer. I don't think she could have done any better than becoming a wildcat. I wish her the best except against the Gators.

*Florida can't recognize her officially because she can't sign until November, so I will give unofficial best wishes to Amelia Disidore for Florida. Amelia is on the US Senior team and is the younger sister of Gabby Disidore who competed on bars for UF in 2024.

At this point, I don't think Trinity will be invited to the Olympic trials in late June. There was speculation she was nursing injury earlier in the year. That injury along with the scratch yesterday with her ankle injury is likely the end of her decorated performance career. If so, what a great ride for a great Gator!

Story on the US Championships from floridagators.com

Three Gators in Top 5 after Opening Day of Xfinity U.S. Championships - Florida Gators

Sunisa Lee is close to making a complete comeback.

Skye Blakely, Kayla DiCello, and Leanne Wong are in the top 5. All 3 will be competing for slots on the 5 member USA Team at the end of June for the Paris Olympics.

Amelia Disidore performed about like last time out, one event and deep down the list. I read the other day that she hasn't been performing in the last year. I have no idea what that is all about as she has been a member of the 2023/24 US Senior Team.

    Complete Opening Day Results:
