The Nuggets lost a lot from their bench last year and they didn't show up tonight. Really nobody outside of Murray and Jokic did anything in the 2nd half.
Down goes my Nugs; no repeat. Hats off to Minnesota, they are playing great basketball and I think they will win it all.
What a comeback by Minnesota. Tough for Brunson so break his hand but he was having another stinker. Shai had a heck of a game two nights ago. Wish he had been a Gator.
They certainly might. I think these playoffs are wide open now. I wouldn’t be overly shocked if any of these final four teams won
yep, we had him...one of a few over the years that when they blew up flipped to UK...painful to see him go but as a Canadian I'm happy we have him for the Olympics team, and likely Murray too. That's the only time I cheer for ex-Wildcats.
Everytime I watch the Celtics I come away unimpressed. Feel like they should be so much better than they are currently. I know they're missing Porzingis but I wonder how things play out in the East if Miami, NY and Milwaukee are healthy.
Was it just me or did that block with 57 seconds left look clean (lost the challenge too), not to mention that inbound pass at 10 seconds left was off the Boston player (unless the laws of physics don't apply) and Siakam was out of bounds when he touched the ball
I missed the block, but I think the out of bounds was clearly off Siakam. He acted like he thought the same thing as he tried hard to save the ball.
I got some guff on here for suggesting Nembhard might still be our best player compared to Keyontae during Nembhard's last season with us. Fawcett's stats showed that every combination of players on our team was better with Nembhard playing. I was bumfuzzled by all the "good riddances" when Nembhard left. I was on the fence regarding his NBA chances, but definitely loved his game and what he brought us while he was here at UF.
I didn't know how his game would translate to the NBA but watching him last night against Boston is why I made my post. I thought keyontae was younger but was almost equally as important but yeah, AN was our key cog. I never bashed Mike White but I did lose confidence in him after the Duke game and thought his offense was the problem not the players.
the ball went quickly off the same angle as the opposing player, exactly the motion and momentum of the Celtic hitting it out of bounds...if it was off Siakam it would not have gone that quickly on that trajectory
Dallas up 2-0, Wolves in trouble. No clue why they had Gobert in the game late and Dallas made them pay.
agree, everyone knew he would switch on Luka and Luka made them pay. Huge 3 by Kyrie earlier after missing both FTs. Still very strange that you can challenge an out of bounds play but when it clearly showed that Kyrie fouled McDaniels, they can only call it out on McDaniels. Incredible how much strange rules and bad officiating can impact the outcome of a game, and series. Wolves would have won it if they maintained possession, and it would be 1-1, not 0-2
