yep. Widra usually a vaccuum at 3B had couple balls hit glove tonight and not result in outs.. Im sure ruled hits... Just sloppy in field, Which is usually good. Best hitting night of year probably and blow it in field. Always someting.

 

Not sure if anyone noticed, but Chelsey Dobbins was sitting in the front row directly behind home plate taking notes on every pitch and scouting our potential opponent tomorrow through the first 8 innings.

 

South Carolina jumped on Mississippi State in the first inning and haven’t looked back since.

This forum has the best info. Explains why SEC Now is on. TV should have a banner, "Game Delayed" so viewers know what the heck is going on.

LSU and Georgia are lucking out with this delay giving them extra rest after those marathon games yesterday.

 

LSU more than UGA I’d say. Neither dog pitcher threw an extreme amount of pitches, 111 and 98 I think. Still I agree. In the end gotta take care of business whenever we play. Go Gators!

 

Beyond the pitchers, the rest from the mental exhaustion of a nail-biter for so many hours for the entire team must be a plus for them.

 

The first game can't possibly start before 4PM given the tornado watch and there are some iffy periods thereafter.

The normal SEC rule is that no game may begin after 10PM (or be resumed after midnight). I wonder whether that applies to a tournament.

 

I was thinking 10pm would be earliest our game could possibly start. Probably play tomorrow morning the way things look. Could be worse, could be playing out in California lol.

 

I certainly don’t miss being part of tournaments playing in rain delays! It’s more exhausting than you think!

Gators and Bulldogs SEC Tournament Quarterfinal Moved to Friday

Florida and Georgia’s Southeastern Conference Tournament quarterfinal game is being moved to Friday, May 10, at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET due to weather.

AUBURN, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced that the Florida softball team’s quarterfinal game against Georgia is being moved to Friday, May 10, at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET on SEC Network due to weather impacting the area.

 

10am ooof. Won’t even be finished with my first coffee at that ungodly hour lol!
