Problem is every guy in the lineup is trying to hit it to the moon with every swing. I'm surprised some don't hurt themselves on those swing and misses.
This team needs a Hard Reset. Just a lifeless bunch of players always looking lost or disinterested. Sully really has to make some changes in the offseason, including a mirror check. It’s almost better to miss the post season and get a reality check than make it and continue along the current path. Just hard to watch.

Yeah - People at the game would have a better idea, but the way the ball bounced away it looked like if he had been hustling down the 1st base line he should have been able to get there, even for a catcher. B.T. Riopelle said on the TV broadcast that he should have tried for it even if he got thrown out.
