RIP former FSU quarterback Marcus "Rooster" Outzen, who started for the Seminoles in the 1st BCS gm

RIP for sure.

 

This is sad news indeed. I feel for the family, to lose your patriarch and rock is hard for the children to deal with. R.I.P. Mr. Outzen.

So sad. And way too close to my age. Ugh. Handed us a painful loss. I hope they play Alice In Chains “rooster” at his funeral set to all of his best highlights.

 

Marcus was a good friend who lived down the street from me. A tragedy for sure as he leaves behind a wife and 3 young children. I could never imagine while watching him beat us, that we'd one day be buddies. Will miss Marcus tremendously.

PS. His oldest kid is a great athlete....we will be hearing from him in a few years.
