    I don't think the 5th inning has anything to do with it. The only 2 reliable pitchers are getting worn down.

    It may take a look or two at Rothrock, but they figure her out. No question that she’s pitched a great game. She can’t take too many chances with a one run lead. Kudos to GA’s pitcher as well.

    Their senior laden team has done a better job making adjustments at the plate as the game has gone on that our team has. Plus, Rothrock throws a lot of rise balls and when they don't rise enough you get home runs and doubles in the gap. Kelly Barnhill was like that. She threw a little harder than Rothrock and primarily relied on her rise but, but gave up a loot of home runs and never developed a change-up. I think Keagan is ahead of her at this point in her career, as she already has a reliable change-up and curve. Rothrock is an excellent pitcher who is going to be great, but she's only a freshman carrying the load. Too much to ask, IMO, but she needs run support to win games in the SEC.

    The pitch calling is becoming a head scratcher for me. It looked like Rothrock threw four off-speed pitches in a row. You've got to mix your pitches up better than that. Ava got into problems with the same situation yesterday.
