Utah did well on beam

 

Utah and Bama putting up 9.9s.....okla not so much lol

 

We finally got 2 scores 9.9 or higher..got to drop Ellie's score
Bama had a few in the 9.8s

 

Anya's score should have been higher.

Good start though.

 

We are .0375 behind bama

 

To me, the judging at the nationals is about as fair as it can get. 6 judges score each event, the highest and lowest scores are dropped and the other 4 are averaged. Hard to complain about that way of doing it. We're in good shape, IMO. Oklahoma dug themselves a huge hole in the vault. Well over a point behind everybody else. Pressure from all the hype.

 

I know...just glad we didn't do what Oklahoma did. That's what I meant.

 

Gonna be near impossible for OU to get that 198+ given their bad start on vault. Huge deficit to make up ust to move on.

 

I can't watch, but following here and on live stats so I didn't know if we were making mistakes or what..scores seemed low

After 2…Utah, UF, OK. Bama

 

Utah is ahead by .275, we are in second after 2 rotations...

 

Alabama beamed themselves out of the running. As long as Florida and Utah don't have 2 girls mess up on either of their last 2 events, there's no way Oklahoma can catch up. Florida has not been great through 2 events. But they have been steadily very good. Just keep that up and they're in the finals. Bars have been our Achilles' heel this year. Have to focus and get through this event solid.

 

So scary.

 

Solid vault scores for UF -49.5, moved to 2nd after Bama crashed and burned. Utah rolling along.
