Can we just raise the white flag? I can't remember a UF team under Sully being this bad. At what point does he lose this team if not already? If the sweep against Miz didn't wake up this team then obviously nothing will. Apparently we really are what our record is with more beatings to come. I do feel bad for Cags, not what he was hoping for for his last year.
We don’t have them. Outside of Cags, this team would be in last place in the sec. They have no hitters. Next year will be even worst unless we have kids transfer that can actually play.
Its getting difficult to understand that the list of players leaving after this year will end up longer than last year's list, even with all the younger players. Most of them are probably thinking this is not what I signed up for.
Every team has a bad year and Sully is entitled to have one. He’s a great coach and perhaps because of the way things are going, he will be able to recruit better for next year. Who knows? Maybe a light will still go on for this season.

Understand there is little or no team leader. BT and Josh were leaders last year. Nobody like that this year. Fresh start Friday. Hope they find their mojo.
Ryan Slater, against FSU this season, has given up 10 runs in 3 appearances (totaling 2 IP). FSU is clearly the better team this season but man we looked helpless.
I hate to say it but this group has the look of a team that was "quit on its coaches." No fire, no spark no adjustments - just going through the motions. As 87 notes, I expect a mass exodus after the season. I hope we can keep Peterson and McNeilly- two guys that will be very good next year. That does leave the big question of the overall quality of the team. Gators had a top five recruiting class in 2023 it may be tough to match that after the looming disaster of this season. I urge you not to look at where we stand in team hitting and pitching. It's scary folks.
Can they pick themselves up, dust themselves off and start over again? We'll know Friday against the Gameycocks.
FSU has some players. They are definitely better than they have been the last several years. I'd still like to think we have a shot if we got into their regional, but I'm probably just an optimist at this point. After that Mizzou series, we will need a full reset to just finish 500 in conference. The overall record is going to be ugly we need to finish undefeated in the remaining non conference to avoid any bad losses going forward.
